KISI – KISI UTS APLIKASI BAHASA INGGRIS

SEMESTER GENAP TAHUN AKADEMIK 2014/2015

I.     SPOKEN TEST

a.      Spoken Test dilaksanakan pada tanggal 06 April 2015.

b.      Materi Spoken Test dibuat oleh dosen yang bersangkutan dengan mengacu pada topik-topik yang sudah di ajarkan sesuai SAP/Course Outline yang ada. Topik-topik speaking yang bisa diujikan diantaranya:  Asking and giving opinion and advice, Expressing agreement and disagreement, Telling activities and time, Telling procedures (Topik dari Buku). Atau, topik-topik yang pernah di ajarkan sesuai Course Outline Speaking.

c.       Format test bisa dalam bentuk Interview, Picture Description, Role Play atau Pair Tasks.

d.      Penilaian Spoken Test menggunakan rubrik berikut (Range Penilaian bisa dibuat puluhan):

Communicative Skills/Strategies	Description
9-10	Demonstrates excellent interactive ability in carrying out the tasks, shows ability to maintain effective communication
7-8	Shows good interactive ability to carry out the tasks, able to maintain and close conversation/speaking in an appropriate way
5-6	Shows ability to take part in the interaction for some of the time, faces occasional difficulties to maintain and close conversation/speaking in an appropriate way
3-4	Faces frequent difficulties to maintain and close the conversation/speaking in an appropriate way, too nervous to interact effectively.
1-2	Appears to be unable to follow the conversation, may speaks but only in random utterances.
Fluency	Description
9-10	Speaks spontaneously, fluently and effortlessly in dealing with the tasks
7-8	More natural pauses  and shows ability to smoothly respond to questions with few misunderstandings
5-6	Hesitant speech and short pauses made in his/her speech
3-4	Slow strained speech and long unnatural pauses made in his/her speech
1-2	Unable to maintain interaction, speaks very slowly that often incomprehensible
Vocabulary	Description
9-10	Uses appropriate and wide range of vocabulary in dealing with the tasks
7-8	Uses appropriate vocabulary in dealing with the tasks
5-6	Uses adequate vocabulary but sometimes inaccurate use of words
3-4	Uses adequate vocabulary but frequently inappropriate use of words
1-2	Uses limited and inappropriate vocabulary in dealing with the tasks
Grammar	Description
9-10	Mostly accurate use of simple and complex grammar and only a few minor errors occur
7-8	Shows ability to use some complex grammar but may sometimes makes errors.
5-6	Makes occasional errors of grammar, complex grammar is attempted but may be inaccurate
3-4	Makes frequent errors of grammar and no attempt at complex grammar
1-2	Makes mostly inaccurate use of grammar and major errors occur
Pronunciation & Intonation	Description
9-10	Speaks with excellent pronunciation and intonation, has practically mastered the sound system of English
7-8	Pronunciation and intonation are good, accent does not interfere with comprehension
5-6	Has mastered most simple individual sound of English but has limited ability to integrate words and sentence stress and intonation in connected speech
3-4	Somewhat first language accent, little or no understanding of connected speech patterns
1-2	Very heavy first language accent, so little control of the individual sounds as to make understanding almost impossible

II. Written TEST

a.      Written Test dilaksanakan pada tanggal 08 April 2015

b.      Soal Written Test di buat oleh Lembaga Pengembangan Bahasa/Bahasa Inggris (LPB/BI)

c.       Materi Written Test terdiri dari:

1.       Reading Test-Comprehension Questions  (15 Soal, @ 3 point): 45 Points

Terdiri dari 3 teks bacaan (2 teks dari buku dan 1 teks dari luar buku), @ 5 soal.

2.       Vocabulary Test (15 Soal, @ 1 point): 15 Points

Materi sesuai topik di buku (Part of speech, Synonym & Antonym, word combination, tools and shapes)

3.      Translation Test (10 Soal @ 2 points) : 20 Points

Menterjemahkan dari Bahasa Inggris ke Bahasa Indonesia atau sebaliknya (Phrase & Sentence Translation

4.      Writing Test. 20 Points

 Menulis deskriptif paragraph (Sekitar 10 Kalimat) dari salah satu topik yang tersedia.

II.   Lain-Lain

1.     Penggandaan soal (Written Test), Berita Acara, Daftar Hadir, Daftar Nilai, dan Lembar Jawaban disediakan oleh LPB.

2.    Nilai diserahkan paling lambat satu minggu setelah ujian.

3.    Mahasiswa yang tidak hadir ujian (dengan alasan yang bisa diterima) bisa melaksanakan ujian susulan dengan soal yang disediakan LPB.
